Requirements for diamond beneficiation license application (2) The following documents must be lodged with an application contemplated in subregulation (1): (a) in the case of a natural person, a certified copy of the relevant identity document; (b) in the case of a company, close corporation, partnership or joint venture, certified copies of certificate of incorporation, articles of association or founding statement (CK1); (c) documentary proof that the applicant has obtained the necessary authority to apply n a representative capacity on behalf of the company, close corporation, partnership or joint venture, and a certified copy of identity documents of the managing director or member; (d) documentary proof of the registered business premises; (e) a tax clearance certificate; (f) proof of adequate financial ability; (g) detailed documentary proof of the applicants technical ability or access to suitable expertise to conduct the diamond beneficiation operation; (h) the applicants proposed business plan, inclusive of the broad-based socio-economic empowerment charter development in terms of section 100 of the Minerals and Petroleum Resource Development Act, 2002 (Act No. 28 of 2002); and (i) a police clearance certificate applied for by the natural person or in the case of the company, the managing director(s) of the company from the head office of the South African Police Service. (3) An application for a diamond beneficiation license must be lodged together with the non refundable application fee specified in regulation 10(1) (c
