In 1998, Corlia Roberts stepped into the diamond world with vision, grit, and a deep love for education. She didn’t just want to succeed in the industry—she wanted to make it more honest, more accessible, and more empowering. With a gift for teaching and a sharp eye for diamonds, Corlia became one of South Africa’s most respected educators in the trade. She believed that with the right tools and guidance, anyone could succeed in this world.
Over the years, she welcomed people from all walks of life into her classroom, her office, and her backpackers—teaching them how to evaluate, grade, and trade diamonds with confidence and integrity.
Her approach was personal, practical, and rooted in ethics. She didn’t just teach how to evaluate a diamond—she taught how to build a business, how to trade with integrity, and how to grow with confidence.
Today, that legacy continues with me, Xanchia Roberts.
As her daughter, I’m proud to walk beside her and lead the next chapter of our diamond education journey. While I now head up the teaching and mentorship side of the business, my mom still plays a deeply valued role in everything we do. Together, we continue to train diamond dealers, jewelers, and entrepreneurs from across South Africa and beyond.
Her wisdom, intuition, and decades of experience are woven into every lesson, every course, and every conversation we have with our students.
